Hong Kong, March 30, 2009 – Top honors in this year’s annual Telecom Asia Awards have been shared among four leading regional carriers — Orange Business Services, StarHub, PT Excelcomindo (XL) and Bharti Airtel.
Each has claimed two prizes in the prestigious event, which is being presented for the 12th successive year.

Tadi pagi sebelum meeting dimulai, googling about transportable bts ternyata andrew sudah launching portable BTS emulator yang memudahkan coverage untuk area indoor. cerita detailnya bout andrew ada di blog ini, setelah di ingat-ingat lagi ternyata gw pernah ikutan training transportable mobile BTS yang diselenggarakan oleh kantor kerjasama dengan PT Telehouse Engineering. Trainingnya sendiri sih sekitar bulan desember 2008 selama 3 hari, dimana hari pertama membahas tentang teori, dan sisanya digunakan untuk praktek. BTS Transportable ini sangat efektif dalam efisiensi cost dibandingkan dengan cost yang dikeluarkan untuk instalasi fixed BTS.
Selain itu ada beberapa keuntungan yang didapat dari instalasi transportable BTS, yaitu :

Kamis 12 Maret 2009 merupakan hari yang bersejarah bagi operator telekomunikasi di Jawa Barat, karena pada hari tersebut di deklarasikan Forum Operator Telekomunikasi Jawa Barat.
Forum ini diprakarsai oleh Polda Jabar yang ingin mengumpulkan seluruh operator di Jabar guna sosialisasi 112. Namun akhirnya berkembang dan menjadi sebuah forum yang nantinya dapat memfasilitasi operator yang berada di Jawa Barat. Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh perwakilan dari 10 Operator, perwakilan BalMon, dan perwakilan dari Polda Jawa Barat yang diwakili oleh Kasubbid Komlek AKBP Gayeng Suwandi, serta undangan lainnya.

Pada tanggal 4 November 2008 di Hotel Ritz Carlton telah di gelar acara malam penganugerahan operator indonesia terbaik. Even right now my job desc as field operation engineer but I still have dreaming to work as core network engineer again. After 5 years work as core network engineer so many experience that i got, especially got overseas training in Suwon, South Korea. So.. here it is I want to post about core network.
UMTS Core Network Planning
Planning the UMTS core network consist of GSN (GPRS Service Node) system design, MSC and registers dimensioning, OMC dimensioning, Core network interface dimensioning.
The Core Network has several interfaces, which need to be configured and dimensioned. This dimensioning is out of the scope of this page, but these are the interfaces that need to be configured:
- Gn: Interface between SGSN and GGSN
- Gi: generic lexapro Interface between GGSN and external packet data network
Other interfaces are between MSCs, to PSTN, HLR, AUC, EIR, SMS, Billing Centre, Voice Mail, OMC, WAP & Multi Media Servers and other network elements.
