Electrical Engineer
Tangent International are currently recruiting for one of their clients, a leading Telecoms Integrator based in Saudi Arabia. What they require is a Field Engineer from a Electrical Works background for a 1 year contract.
Key Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years experiences in their field of specialization
- Hands-on experiences is highly desirable
- Possess a good command of the English language
- Familiarity with telecom site’s electrical works inspection and related processes and procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the progress of Electrical works and monitor activities of the Contractor
- Check site progress as related to installation of batteries, AC/DC connections, High Voltage wiring, Electrical fail systems, fuses, site electrical distribution, etc
- Check and assure the quality of material and site work
- Report site inspection findings to the team leader on regular basis
- Supervise site civil works to check on compatibility with contractual obligations
- Identify and report deviations and disputes to team leader and suggest appropriate actions
- To provide advice to the project team and suggest resolution to problems
- To evaluate site reports and documents, draft comments and initiate appropriate actions
- To control the quality of work performed by Contractors as related to all Electrical works
- To verify the accuracy and quality for all documents and site reports submitted to GIP
- To attend project implementation and review meetings
- To oversee acceptance of all Electrical related jobs and tests.
